See how hosting works
This walkthrough shows the game board, the host experience, and players buzzing in from their phones.
Before the game
- Review every clue and correct response.
- Test any images, videos, or audio included in the board.
- Decide whether participants will play individually or in teams.
- Open the game early enough to display the QR code or share the room URL and let players join.
During the game
- Select Start round in the first category tile to reveal the categories.
- Select a clue. When buzzing opens, Buzzinga identifies the first player or team to buzz in.
- Listen to the response, then mark it Correct or Incorrect. Buzzinga updates the score automatically and follows your buzzer settings to determine whether another player can answer.
- Reveal the correct response, then return to the board. The buzzers reset for the next clue, and the player or team with control can choose where to continue.
Keep your instructions short and make sure participants know when buzzing is open.
If you want to run the game from a private second screen, see Using the host controller.
After the game
After the last clue or Final Wager Round, review the final standings and announce the winning player or team. Check any manually adjusted scores before ending the session.
To play the board again with another group, return to the Buzzinga homepage and select Play to start a new game.
If you are planning for a particularly large group, continue with Hosting a large event.
